2013 CIM Award Winners

2014 winners2014 winnersThe Chartered Institute of Marketing Ireland (CIM) has recognised businesses and people across Ireland who have excelled in marketing in 2013. At the CIM Ireland Marketing Excellence Awards ceremony, attended by more than 200 marketing professionals, winners of 14 categories were announced by compere Claire McCollum including the People’s Choice – a first for the Institute which encouraged the general public to vote via digital media.

Business leaders, entrepreneurs, freelance consultants, marketing directors and their teams joined CIM Ireland in recognising and congratulating the winners who have created results that deliver real business benefits through effective marketing.

In congratulating the winners, Christine Watson, Chair of CIM Ireland board said, “In my first year as Chair of the CIM Ireland board I am thrilled that we are recognising such high achievers in the marketing profession. For me it’s all about flying the flag for, and rewarding, marketing best practice across our region. Our annual awards ceremony affords us the opportunity to give centre stage to marketing individuals and teams who are providing solutions that perform, gain competitive edge and make a profit or indeed create efficiency. I appreciate we are operating in what are economically challenging times within an industry that is undergoing a revolution; the marketers’ tool box is not just growing but also facing change at an unprecedented level – bringing with it both challenges and opportunities for all. Entries to this year’s awards from across the island of Ireland demonstrated real-life examples of how marketers are adapting to the ever-changing consumer landscape.”
