The Ritz Cinema, Cookstown receives commendation for excellence in customer service

Local Cookstown leisure business The Ritz Cinema has achieved commendation for excellence in customer service by the Northern Ireland Tourist Board.

Accredited WorldHost Ambassador for Northern Ireland Giles Conlon was presented with his WorldHost business certification by Minister Stephen Farry in front of an invited audience at Lough Neagh Discovery Centre on World Tourism Day.

To achieve WorldHost recognition the local cinema, which employs 25 and hosts in excess of 150,000 visitors every year, successfully trained more than 95% of its customer facing staff in the internationally acclaimed WorldHost customer service programme. Future WorldHost training courses have been scheduled across the Lough Neagh destination, including a new course scheduled in Cookstown on 2 and 6 December 2013.
